CALIFORNIA!!!!

Well, we finally convinced my parents to go to California this summer!! It was so much fun! I want to go again next year!

Trips

Today we got back from Beaver View camping! It was so much fun! In a couple days we're going to go to California to the beach! So excited!!!!!!!!!

Summer!!

Oh it's finally summer! I love it but miss everyone at Central Davis. :( Here's some pictures of the last day of school.

Birthday!!!

Technically it's not my birthday until tomorrow, but we celebrated it as a family yesterday and today. Yesterday we went to my Grandma's for Mother's Day and my Birthday, and had cake and ice cream. Tonight after my voice recital we went to my favorite resturaunt Tepanyaki! It was sooooo good! On Saturday, Mom and I went to Inkley's to get pictures printed. While we were there we were looking at camera's, and now I know my present now! :) Here's a picture of it! I'm so excited, it's waterproof!

Hail!

Earlier today it was bright, sunny, and felt good outside.... now it's hailing!!! We just got home from our Grandma Cox's and we couldn't even see the road it was hailing so hard. There's lightning and thunder too!! Oh I wish it was summer, I was going to wear shorts tomorrow, but now I really don't think I'm going to all week. :( I hate cold weather!

Registration

I registrated for Legacy Junior High tonight... I'm happy and sad. I'll have to leave my new friends at Central, and I won't see them until high school. But, I get to see my old friends from Sand Springs there so ya... I've been to four Elementary's and two Junior High's while living in the same house uggh.

Spring Break!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IT IS FINALLY SPRING BREAK!!!!! Oh my gosh I'm so happy now! Well, sort of... we don't get to go anywhere for it, but Ciera is in California for school right now. I'm hopefully going rockwall climbing tommorrow though! Hopefully we'll go somewhere fun during the summer instead.

Solo and Ensemble

More about Ciera :) She sang a song for solo and ensemble, and found out yesterday she was the only one from Layton High to go to state!! Out of everyone! She went to sing for the state competition at Weber and did well. She's awesome!

Show Boat

I just got home from Layton High's Musical "Show Boat"!! Ciera was in it and it was AMAZING!!!!!! She was one of the Chorus. I love that show and especially the music, good job Ciera!

Book

I've been reading "The Naming" this week (my mom told me to read it) and if you're looking for a good book, read it!! Oh my gosh I love it!! I'm not done with it yet but it's a series and that is what I'm going to be reading til I am done! Nothing else! :)

Awww!!

Awww!! Isn't she beautiful? This is my new baby cousin Lucy Dibble. Born early at 12:45 this morning. 6 pounds 15 ounces and 20 1/2 inches!!! I wish I was in Arizona to see her!

Sweethearts

For the Sweethearts dance the Mahaffey's came from Missouri. Ciera had SUCH a good time! She just keeps on looking at the pictures, saying I want that week back. It was a really fun Valentines Day. Thanks Sumner, Mara, and Jeanette for coming to Utah! It was awesome!

Haircut!!!

Yesterday I got my hair cut! I love it! When we get the pictures downloaded I'll put some on here.

Fish

Saturday, my dad, jensen, my grandpa, cassie, and I went ice fishing at mantuea! It was so much fun! I caught nine fish (that we could keep). I felt bad for Jensen though, he went all day without catching something, then he got a giant rainbow but as he was pulling it out of the hole, it got off. We had fun anyway though!

Comparisons

I was looking at some pictures of our cats when we first got them and now! They were so tiny! Here's two pictures of Smokey. One when we first got him and the other is his most recent. (The other cat in the picture is Oreo) By the way I took that picture when he was little and I love it to death! I love the way the sun is on him, and how his shadow looks.

I was wrong...

Well the Steelers won. I wish the Cardinals could have! It was a close game. I bet you anything school will be loud tommorrow about the game!

"Pre-" Superbowl

Just thought I should let everyone know that I'm predicting the Cardinals will win the Superbowl!!! Go Cardinals!!!!!!!!!!!

14 month burger fast :)

My dad has been on a burger fast for 14 months! He and I went to Pocatello yesterday to end it. He had heard about a place called "Big Jud's" that had a HUMONGOUS hamburger and he wanted to end his fast with it. So we drove for two and a half hours just to get that hamburger in Idaho. We get there and we can't find it! We stopped at a Maverik and asked for directions. The lady there said "Oh, we don't have one here anymore. The nearest one is at Twin Falls" Ahhhh!!!!! So we drove all the way back to Utah, went to the big Maddox to eat (the fancy one), and drove home. Even though we didn't get the burger it was fun to drive there with just him and me! So next Saturday we're going to Twin Falls... Just kidding! We'll go some other time.

16!!! AHH

Ciera is now officially 16. It is way scary! She can drive without an adult and can take family places but not friends. She was elected royalty (2nd attendant) for the Sweethearts dance, and a family friend from St. Louis is coming at that time so they're going to it together! Her dress is BEAUTIFUL! She looks like Cinderella. I'm so jealous!

Birds

We put out more bird seed the other day in the backyard. The birds eat out of that and on the tall grass in the backyard too. They're puffy and fat, they are so cute!

New Years

This year we had New Years at our house. We ate, watched t.v., listened to music, and I slept! I fell asleep on the couch at 10:45, and my dad woke me up when they were counting down for the ball to drop. Then I went to bed. (That morning I had fallen asleep at 3 a.m.! I was at a sleepover) I was really tired.

Christmas

Christmas was so much fun! My two favorite things I got were an exercise ball and a new ipod! I know an exercise ball seems pretty weird to ask for, but Elliot showed me how fun they can be when we went to Arizona! The ipod is a new ipod nano, it's pink and when you shake it, the songs shuffle and the song changes! Also, when you put it on its side the screen flips. I love them both! :)
