so im sitting here...

so im sitting here in computer tech....and im bored. so i thought i'd say hi:) i never get to do this anymore 1.)because i have no time 2.) because my computer wont let me blog anymore...hmm..well maybe this will be gone in a little bit..

well change from that last one....im not stressed at all! life is great:) and i just thought i'd let you know that i am officially on itunes! crazy i know. mrs. heath (a spanish teacher at my school) was really close to jamison tuckett (the boy my age who died) and when i decided to write a song for him i asked her to write the lyrics. it's taken us four months but it was performed by me and haden langston at our schools end of year assembly, and now it is on itunes. all proceeds will be going to primary childrens hospital. the song is "jamie's song" and should come up if you type in that or "josie cox". (the picture for the album cover was a necklace he wore every day)

change..

i...don't like change. at all. i mean cieras leaving to college in a few months and itll never be the same! the building ive gone to for my whole life (15 years) isnt my building for church anymore...which is a really weird thing to be sad about but i am! half of my friends are going to different highschools next year and im probably not going to see them for a long time. im growing up and going to highschool and i am sooo stressed. i have an AP college class, all honors, office, musical...life. bleh! im not ready for it! the whole month of june i wont be home! get out of school on friday, then monday til saturday im at efy. home sunday. monday til thursday: girls camp. home friday, saturday, sunday. monday til thursday: officer retreat. i mean holy cow i wont have a summer! then i come home and get to work....i miss kindergarten...sorry this post is all about me..i just need to vent:)

School Stuff..

I sang the national anthem at a grizzlies hockey game!!! With a bunch of other kids from my school but still.:) The three advanced choirs get to go and compete and different things throughout the year, but one of the fun things we get to do is this. We got to go sing, see some players, and watch the hockey game for free! It was more entertaining than i thought it would be when they started fighting:) weird i know but i liked it!! the pictures are of my friend devyn and i, and all the choirs together outside of the building.

*I lost one of my friends in a car accident last month. He was my age and in my ward..miss him a lot

*Ciera now officially has a BF (our abbriviation for boyfriend..yes we say it b-fff)

*Dad has been home for 3 months since Boston!

*Within a year i will have 3 new baby cousins!! yessss!:)

first day of school today and surprisingly i loved it!! i have a feeling 9th grade is gonna be pretty awesome!! cieras lovin being a senior and jensens our little sevie:)

Zoo:)

i LOVE the zoo!! i've been begging my mom for weeks to take us so finally last week we all got to go! jess even came with us! ah i had so much fun! but like ciera said, "i love the zoo..but im not planning on being back for another 10 years":) we went to hogle zoo in salt lake city!! i was bummed though cuz they have no polar bears,no zebras, no hippos, and no other type of bear either!! i was sad..oh well we saw way cool things!! hah i dont think ive laughed so much in one day before!! ciera: "mom i think we've found rafiki's (the monkey from lion king) decendant..."real freaky"" hahaha...well WE thought it was funny!!

Ohhhh....:)

Ohhhh..hehe totally slipped my mind that i had a blog...oops:) Hmm things that i've been doing..umm..last week i was in our schools solo and ensamble performance and i got a one minus (thats only one lower than the highest score!) im in the play at our school "High School Musical" im a cheerleader:) uhh yesterday for presidents day we had it off school and i spent my morning at the doctors office:/ i have an ear infection..ow.. i havent had one since i was like five!! then after me and my fam went to percy jackson the lightning theif..love those books! everyone read them!! im still doing piano..that i have to go to now so bye:):)

CALIFORNIA!!!!

Well, we finally convinced my parents to go to California this summer!! It was so much fun! I want to go again next year!

Trips

Today we got back from Beaver View camping! It was so much fun! In a couple days we're going to go to California to the beach! So excited!!!!!!!!!

Birthday!!!

Technically it's not my birthday until tomorrow, but we celebrated it as a family yesterday and today. Yesterday we went to my Grandma's for Mother's Day and my Birthday, and had cake and ice cream. Tonight after my voice recital we went to my favorite resturaunt Tepanyaki! It was sooooo good! On Saturday, Mom and I went to Inkley's to get pictures printed. While we were there we were looking at camera's, and now I know my present now! :) Here's a picture of it! I'm so excited, it's waterproof!

Hail!

Earlier today it was bright, sunny, and felt good outside.... now it's hailing!!! We just got home from our Grandma Cox's and we couldn't even see the road it was hailing so hard. There's lightning and thunder too!! Oh I wish it was summer, I was going to wear shorts tomorrow, but now I really don't think I'm going to all week. :( I hate cold weather!

Registration

I registrated for Legacy Junior High tonight... I'm happy and sad. I'll have to leave my new friends at Central, and I won't see them until high school. But, I get to see my old friends from Sand Springs there so ya... I've been to four Elementary's and two Junior High's while living in the same house uggh.

Spring Break!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IT IS FINALLY SPRING BREAK!!!!! Oh my gosh I'm so happy now! Well, sort of... we don't get to go anywhere for it, but Ciera is in California for school right now. I'm hopefully going rockwall climbing tommorrow though! Hopefully we'll go somewhere fun during the summer instead.

Solo and Ensemble

More about Ciera :) She sang a song for solo and ensemble, and found out yesterday she was the only one from Layton High to go to state!! Out of everyone! She went to sing for the state competition at Weber and did well. She's awesome!

Show Boat

I just got home from Layton High's Musical "Show Boat"!! Ciera was in it and it was AMAZING!!!!!! She was one of the Chorus. I love that show and especially the music, good job Ciera!
