6th, 7th, and 8th days of our Vacation! (the last)

On Friday we left for Bear Lake!!!!! I was the only one of my family who hadn't been there before. It is HUGE! We spent the day at the beach, we tried out our raft, swam, and built a sandcastle! I love Bear Lake! When we were in our raft we kept on floating backward instead of forward so Jensen finally just turned the boat backwards and we went forward! We swam for a long time and then Ciera, Jensen, and I built a sandcastle. When we were done with the sandcastle we went over to a place where you can scoop up handfuls of pure seashells, and we covered our sandcastle with them! We dried off and went to our hotel. On Saturday we went back to the lake and rented a boat, we went tubing and knee boarding! I'm a wimp, I screamed the whole way for them to slow down or stop! (they didn't listen to me) I still loved it anyway! Ciera and I got burns our elbows and knees. After that we drove for three hours through Idaho and part of Wyoming 'til we got to Jackson Hole! There we went to a river rafting place and we rafted down the Snake River! On the ride we saw twelve eagles, cows, a beaver within 6ft. of us, other different types of birds, and LOTS of mosquitos!!! It was really fun! After that we drove around Jackson looking for a hotel to stay in, but all of them said "No Vacancy" so we had to drive to Idaho falls! By the time we got there it was 2:00 in the morning and, all of us kids were in the back laying on top of each other asleep. We walked to our room and instantly fell asleep! In the morning we took the 3 and a half hour drive back to Layton and here we are! Well thats the end of our trip!

5th day of Vacation

On Thursday we had a semi stay at home day. We were home all day until 6:30 and then we went to the Ogden Pioneer Day Rodeo! I had never been to a rodeo before so I was excited! We stayed until 11:00 p.m. and then went home! I LOVED the rodeo! It looks so scary but it's fun to watch!

Third and Fourth days of Vacation

On Tuesday we went to Salt Lake all day! We went shopping at Gateway and I got a new shirt! Then we saw Kung Fu Panda! Later at night we went to the Bee's game and my brother and I got our bats signed by Chris Walker #14! The Bee's lost but it was a fun game anyway!
Wednesday was amazing!! We spent the whole day in Ogden at the Salomon Center. First we got an all day pass to go to iRock! (rock climbing) Then after that we watched the surfers go on Flowrider! After that we walked to an Italian resturaunt and ate some of the best food I've ever had! Then we went back to the Salomon Center and did iFly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS BEYOND ANY GOOD WORD YOU CAN FIND!!!!! It was indoor skydiving! You had an instruction class before you did it and then you got in a tunnel that's vertical and air is blown up to you at 60mph! Then you get in on your stomach and are floating through air!! I did it with my brother and sister!

First and Second days of our vacation

This year for our family vacation we are doing things here in Utah. We will be staying overnight at places 2 times, but for all the other days we'll be coming back home at night. Yesterday (Sunday) we went to Heber and stayed in the Homestead hotel overnight. Today (Monday) after we had breakfast we went swimming at the hotel. We checked out and went to Park City. We got to go down the Alpine slide! Then we went down a zipline they had there that went down the mountain! Before we went on it we were waiting in line and I thought I was going to die! We kept on hearing people yelling as they went down and you couldn't see them when they went down because of the doors they had there. When I finally went on it I had my hands up almost the whole time! We left there and went shopping at the Outlets in Park City. After that we went to Coldstone and got ice cream! Then we left for Salt Lake City to go see a Bee's game! When we finally got to Salt Lake we found out that they weren't playing tonight. So we headed home, and here I am! I'm so tired! Family Vacation!

This year for our family vacation we are doing fun things in Utah! We are going the week of the twentieth! I'll post more about it when we get back.
